Give your child a week of fun and educational outdoor adventure at our “Find Yourself Outdoors” day camp! Our camp gives your child unforgettable experiences in nature. From hiking to paddling, we will guide your child through countless adventures. Each week, we will also explore local parks and travel to regional parks like Mother Neff & Lake Whitney State Park. Our camp will provide your child the instruction and support they need for these adventures with a 1:5 leader-to-child ratio, allowing us to give your child one-on-one attention when needed. Alongside our low ratios, every leader follows the Wilderness Education Association’s 6+1 curriculum, where they will teach the skills needed for the activity and develop your child’s judgment and decision-making skills.

Camp Times
Activities: Start 8:30 am / End 4:30 pm
Camp Locations: Detailed camp locations are given after registration for the safety of our campers
Week 1 & 2 Explore Waco: Explore Waco’s natural areas and our closest state parks.
Waco Parks, Mother Neff State Park, Lake Whitney State Park
Week 3 & 4 State Parks Tour: Join us as we explore state parks around Texas. Families are welcome to join!
Cleburne, Meridian, Fort Parker, Dinosaur Valley, Lake Whitney
Week 5 & 6 Waterways: Splash, paddle, and float as we spend all week exploring the waterways of Texas
Waco, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Lake Whitney State Park, San Marcos River
Planned Activities (Variable based on registration week)
Hiking, Biking, Tent Building, Survival Skills, Fire Building, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Canoeing, Archery, Camping Essentials, Fishing, Fly Fishing, Orienteering & Map Reading.
